Three lines of work, built to be used together.

Clients usually arrive needing one of three things. Most end up using two. What follows sets out what each engagement covers, what you receive, and how the lines connect.

01 — Consultation

A structured look at how
the business actually runs.

And a plan you can act on — written down, costed, and ordered by what will make a difference soonest.

Two colleagues reviewing documents together at a table

A consultation begins with us sitting down with you, not with a questionnaire. We work through how the business operates today: the sequence of work, who touches what, where decisions wait, and where cost accumulates because nobody has stopped to look at it.

From there we identify the gaps worth closing and the opportunities worth taking, then build recommendations around your objectives rather than a generic best-practice list. Some of what we propose we can implement for you. Some of it you will be better off doing yourselves, and we will say so.

What you receive

Operational review

A documented picture of how work moves through the business today.

Gap and opportunity analysis

Where performance is being lost, and where there is headroom you are not using.

Process mapping

The sequence of work set down clearly, so it can be examined and changed.

Costed recommendations

Each proposal with a realistic indication of what implementing it takes.

Implementation roadmap

A sequence with owners and timing attached — not a list of good ideas.

Findings session

We take you through the assessment in person and answer to every line of it.

02 — Advisory services

Continuing guidance, so
decisions are made with
the full picture.

Where consultation is a point in time, advisory is a relationship — judgement available as the questions arrive.

Decisions rarely arrive one at a time, and they rarely arrive conveniently. A new jurisdiction, a regulatory change, a counterparty that does not look right, a question about where the next hire should sit — these are the moments where an outside view, already familiar with the business, is worth considerably more than a fresh one.

Engagements are typically retained, with a defined level of access and scheduled review points. The value compounds: by the second or third review cycle we know the business well enough that advice arrives quickly and already in context.

Areas we cover

Strategic planning

Objectives, options and trade-offs examined properly before they are committed to.

Regulatory compliance

Obligations identified, tracked, and kept current as requirements change.

Risk management

Exposure assessed across operations, counterparties and compliance.

Operational improvement

Continuing refinement of process as the business grows into — or out of — it.

Governance support

Structures, records and decision-making that hold up to outside scrutiny.

Scheduled reviews

Regular sessions to re-examine assumptions and reset priorities.

03 — Administrative support

We take the back office,
so your people stay on
the work that grows it.

None of it is difficult. All of it takes the week. We absorb those functions and run them to an agreed standard.

Desk with correspondence, documents and stationery

Administration is where good intentions quietly fail. The scheduling, the documents, the records, the correspondence, the chasing — each item is small, and together they consume the people you hired to do something else.

You keep oversight; we keep the detail. Work is handled on a defined schedule, records stay current and accessible, and nothing depends on one person happening to remember. The arrangement scales with you, which means no recruitment round every time volume moves.

Functions we take on

Scheduling and diary management

Appointments, deadlines and recurring commitments kept in order and ahead of time.

Document preparation

Drafting, formatting and assembling documents to a consistent house standard.

Record management

Filing, indexing and retention — so anything can be found when it is needed.

Client correspondence

Routine communication handled promptly and in the voice you would use yourself.

Workflow coordination

Keeping work moving between people, and surfacing it when it stops.

Reporting support

Collating the numbers and preparing the regular reports you have to produce anyway.

Putting them together

Start where it hurts.
Widen when it is useful.

There is no package you have to buy into. These are the four arrangements clients most often settle on.

A

Consultation alone

A one-off, independent read before a decision — a restructure, a new market, a process that has stopped working. You take the findings and act on them yourself.

B

Consultation into advisory

The assessment becomes the agenda. We stay on as the business works through the recommendations, adjusting them as reality intervenes.

C

Advisory with administration

We advise on the change and then run it. The most common arrangement, because it removes the gap where most plans stall — execution.

D

All three

Periodic assessment, continuing counsel, and the back office operated day to day. For clients who would rather hold the relationship than the function.

Next step

Not sure which line
you need? Neither are
most clients.

Describe the problem rather than the service. The introductory call is free, and we will tell you honestly if we are not the right firm for it.
